Nina Perović je završila osnovne i specijalističke studije kompozicije na Muzičkoj akademiji na Cetinju u klasi profesora Žarka Mirkovića. Uporedo je studirala klavir: diplomirala je u klasi profesora Aleksandra Serdara, a specijalističke studije je završila u klasi profesora Vladimira Bočkarjova. Zahvaljujući stipendiji Basileus nastavila je studije kompozicije na Muzičkoj akademiji u Ljubljani, u klasi profesora Uroša Rojka, gdje je stekla diplomu Master. Doktorske studije kompozicije je završila u klasi profesora Srđana Hofmana na Fakultetu muzičke umetnosti u Beogradu. Na Univerzitetu za muziku i izvođačke umjetsnoti u Gracu završila je i jednogosišnje stručno usavršavanje u klasi profesora Klausa Langa.

Redovno je angažovana kao saradnik u nastavi na predmetima Analiza muzičkog djela, Kontrapunkt i Aranžiranje na Muzičkoj akademiji na Cetinju, kao i gostujući profesor na predmetu Analiza muzičkog djela. U sklopu ovih angažmana stekla je i iskustvo kao saradnik na projektu ,,Identitetski elementi u crnogorskoj umjetničkoj muzici kao osnova za razvoj interkulturalnosti i multikulturalnosti”. U Muzičkoj školi ,,Vasa Pavić” bila je angažovana kao profesor klavira. Povremeno je angažovana kao klavirski saradnik u Crnogorskom simfonijskom orkestru. Komponovala je muziku za nekoliko pozorišnih predstava u saradnji sa Zetskim domom, Centrom za kulturu Tivat, Zagrebačkim kazalištem mladih, Gradskim pozorištem i Crnogorskim narodnim pozorištem.

U okviru stipendije Basileus za razmjenu stručnog osoblja Univerziteta Crne Gore provela je dva mjeseca na Muzičkoj akademiji u Ljubljani kao asistent iz predmeta Harmonija sa harmonskom analizom, a u okviru Erasmus stipendije održala je par predavanja i na Muzičkoj akademiji u Zagrebu. U okviru međunarodnog festivala Unicum držala je predavanja o crnogorskoj muzici, kao i predavanja o srpskim i crnogorskim kompozitorima na Muzičkoj akademiji u Ljubljani.

Njene kompozicije izvođene su u prestižnim dvoranama poput dvorane Slovenske filharmonije (Ljubljana), dvorane Vatroslav Lisinski (Zagreb), Zadužbine Ilije M. Kolarca (Beograd), Nacionalnog teatra za operu i balet (Tirana), Crnogorskog narodnog pozorišta (Podgorica), na brojnim festivalima (festival A Tempo, Kotor Art, Mokranjčevi dani, Unicum, Sonic fest, Lasciar Vibrare…), kao i u mnogim evropskim državama (Italiji, Austriji, Mađarskoj, Njemačkoj, Švajcarskoj, Sloveniji). Usavršavala se na brojnim kursevima u inostranstvu (Donauešingen, Impuls, ISA...) kod renomiranih kompozitora poput Klausa Langa, Pitera Ablingera, Beata Furera, Dmitrija Kourliandskog, Vinka Globokara, Stefana Prinsa i drugih. Član je Odbora za muzičke umjetnosti u Crnogorskoj akademiji nauka i umjetnosti.


Nina Perović completed her basic and specialist studies in composition at the Music Academy in Cetinje in the class of Professor Žarko Mirković.

She studied piano at the same time: she graduated in the class of Professor Aleksandar Serdar, and she completed specialist studies in the class of Professor Vladimir Bočkarjov. Thanks to the Basileus scholarship, she continued her composition studies at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, in the class of Professor Uroš Rojko, where she obtained a Master's degree. She completed her doctoral studies in composition in the class of Professor Srdjan Hoffman at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. She also completed a one-year professional training in the class of Professor Klaus Lang at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz.

She is regularly engaged as a teaching associate in the subjects of Musical Work Analysis, Counterpoint and Arranging at the Music Academy in Cetinje, as well as a visiting professor in the subject of Musical Work Analysis. As part of these engagements, she gained experience as an associate on the project "Identity Elements in Montenegrin Art Music as a Basis for the Development of Interculturality and Multiculturalism".

She was hired as a piano teacher at the "Vasa Pavić" Music School. She is occasionally engaged as a piano collaborator in the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra.

She has composed music for several theater plays in collaboration with the Zeta House, the Tivat Cultural Center, the Zagreb Youth Theater, the City Theater and the Montenegrin National Theater.
Within the Basileus scholarship for the exchange of professional staff of the University of Montenegro, she spent two months at the Music Academy in Ljubljana as an assistant in the subject Harmony with Harmonic Analysis, and within the Erasmus scholarship she gave a couple of lectures at the Music Academy in Zagreb.

As part of the international festival Unicum, she gave lectures on Montenegrin music, as well as lectures on Serbian and Montenegrin composers at the Music Academy in Ljubljana.

Her compositions have been performed in prestigious halls such as the Slovenian Philharmonic Hall (Ljubljana), the Vatroslav Lisinski Hall (Zagreb), the Ilija M. Kolarac Foundation (Belgrade), the National Opera and Ballet Theater (Tirana), the Montenegrin National Theater (Podgorica), at numerous festivals (festival A Tempo, Kotor Art, Mokranjčevi dani, Unicum, Sonic fest, Lasciar Vibrare…), as well as in many European countries (Italy, Austria, Hungary, Germany, Switzerland, Slovenia).

She studied at numerous courses abroad (Donaueschingen, Impuls, ISA ...) with renowned composers such as Klaus Lang, Peter Ablinger, Beat Führer, Dmitri Kourliandski, Vinko Globokar, Stefan Prince and others. He is a member of the Committee for Musical Arts at the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts.
